    Hello,

I have a Hotpoint style FDYF 1100 dishwasher, which has been working fine until the last week or so. Recently the machine has decided to not run through a full cycle, we’ll load the machine, select a wash and the machine will start, it appears to be working fine for between ten and fifteen minuets, then it’ll time jump itself to finish the wash. On opening the door the load is wet and the water has drained, the tablet door is open and there is a tablet half dissolved along with a load of dirty wet crockery.

Can anyone assist in helping me identify the cause/issue here?

    Thank you

well thats your first thing to check

you need to measure the element to see if its blown

you would need a multimeter on ohms scale
you would have to remove the plug and find the heater unit on the end of the wash motor, remove the plug and test it for resistance which will be under 100 ohms
