Hi all, in need of advice please, I have a Beko freezer TZDA504FS which is only getting to fridge temperature, compressor working fine and fans ok also, so want to know the location of the sensors, I know one is located right by the evaporator but dont know which one this is, so would be grateful if someone could help. Thanks.
first off
the sensors only turn the compressor on and off through the pcb
if the compressor is turning on and off and the temps are wrong then it could be a sensor
if the compressor is running and running then its more likley a refrigeration system fault
no the pcb along with the sensors only turn the compressor on and off
if the compressor is running all the time and it does not freeze then you need a new fridge
That can be the sensors on those as well Dave, they don’t read right to the board and they do whacky stuff like inconsistent temps and that goes either way. Basically it thinks the internal cabinet temp is too high so doesn’t shut down the pot… frozen milk, tomoatoes like cannonballs etc.
The sensors going on them is very common (it would appear from personal experience ;)) and one at least is always buried in the rear insulation behind the rear fridge wall.
Re – Beko Fridge Freezer. Does the wiring generally terminate elsewhere.within the foam at the rear of the unit, between the Control board and the Thermistors? I am getting very odd readings from the control board wiring, which do not change when the connections within the freezer section are disconnected.
