ParticipantI have attempted many times on fixing these dishwashers – it could be leaks which I rarely found the culprit as it is often badly installed and the construction of it doesn’t lend itself for me to investigate further.
Constant faults with pressure switch Sensor and no two sensors are the same, too many different variations – very often doesn’t always solve it
regularly finding faults with float switch.
I question if it is worth the time and effort to fix these dishwashers? Maybe it’s me or that the dishwashers are very badly made, over engineered and too complicated to resolve for a lowly independent engineers like myself?
Weirdly, they managed to make the likes of Hotpoint/Indesit even plastic bottomed Bosch dishwashers looks angelic.
Any suggestions on how to get the lowdown’s on these Electrolux dishwashers, what are the most common faults and the methods on resolving this?
I’ve put a stop to job offers on Electrolux dishwashers until I get better understanding on these.

there is as you prob know a pressure sw mod on some of them for blocking of the pressure sw feed pipe

That would be helpful, thank you.
I have had i40 error codes, i50 error codes and flooding for no apparent reason, just that I am flummoxed by it all.
I do see a lot of them round here and they all comes in different guises. Roughly once a week. There are few new builds round here also quite a number properties had a kitchen refurb with Ikea, Howdens and Benchmark as well by small kitchen fitting firms (short business lifespan – often bankrupt after few years). There is a AEG/Electrolux graded goods refurbisher nearby and I am often called out to these appliances when it is out of guarantee.
I don’t have the luxury to take home the broken AEG dishwasher to carry out post mortem on it.

ParticipantI have stopped going out to AEG/Zanussi dishwashers of certain age.
Dave – I will post PNC number if I come across one if it slipped through the net as my wife is filtering the calls out for me. It the leaks that get my back up Then the pressure sensors fault, now looking likely software issues. I have to protect my reputation hence the reason for refusing to touch them as I don’t want word going round saying that I am hopeless on AEG type dishwashers which I am at the moment but I don’t want it to be public knowledge.

ParticipantMajor issues with the heating elements failing on the newer type ones! Worst part is getting them out because of the silly design of feet/deco door hanging, and changing the stupid door opener is rediculous
