    Hi everyone

I have an Ikea Skinande dishwasher. The heat unit has gone on it.. it does a terrible job of cleaning, it frequently clogs up and floods the base as the fat and gunk doesn’t get flushed away and it doesn’t dry either. So all round not a great wash cycle!

With the help of the team I’ve identified the part I need https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/14000216219-dishwasher-heater-assembly But I can’t find a tutorial on youtube for these models to show what sort of job it would be to change it over. Has anyone got any experience with these? I’m pretty confident at doing stuff like this but if this part is buried deep within and will require a huge job of dismantling other components I may pass.

    Thanks

    Thanks Dave

Do you remember if this motor/heating element assembly is easy to access once the cover is off, or does anything need to be removed to allow access?
