ParticipantHello all
My daughter’s oven tripped the house electrics recently, and since then the lower part of the oven doesn’t heat up. Some research suggests that the bottom element has gone, so she’s ordered one and I’ll be going there to fit it for her when it arrives.
I can’t find any service manuals/how to guides for this model. I’m hoping the element can be changed with the oven still in place (I’ve seen instructions for ovens that can and others that have to be removed because access to the rear is required)
Can anyone help me prepare for the job? Any advice on this model will be greatly appreciated.
thanks
Jase

ParticipantHi all
Well, the element we ordered came back and looks nothing like the one in the oven. While the oven was out I checked it all over for a model number, and couldn’t find anything. The front panel matches a EOSV2, but the element that was in it looks like the one that’s fitted to a EOSV3
This is the element that we ordered, and doesn’t fit:

thanks

ParticipantThanks , I’ll get my daughter to measure it.
Dave, the one you linked shows it in the tray, I removed it without pulling the tray all the way out, should I have?
