I’ve got an Indesit IDC8T3 Condenser Tumble Dryer which has started making a rather loud “squeaking”. The sound seems to be continuous, whether the drum is turning or not, but stops when the Dryer enters the “cool down” cycle at the end of the program. The drum seems to turn normally and the tension pulley has been replaced. Any ideas what may be wrong?

    Cheers.

I think I have the same issue.
Same dryer and started intermittently a month or so ago fairly quietly. Gradually got louder each time and The noise lasted longer.
it now sounds like someone is drilling the wall.
