Indesit F-04 Fault Code – Any Ideas?

    Anyone know what this error code is on an Indesit Evolution 1200.

    It’s quite erratic, sometimes the cycle won’t start and just shows F-04 whilst at other times it starts and finishes without problem – fault is about 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of time.

    I’ve checked the filter on the front and that is clear (I think this was a problem when I got an F-04 fault within a year of purchase).

    I’ve also search a lot and can find reference to lots of other ‘F’ codes but not F-04.

    The machine is about 5 years old and cheap at the time. A replacement is about £210 so trying to decide whether it is worth calling out an engineer or just buying a new one.

    Its likely due to crud in the water level system. (Thats the hoses that go from the bottom of the machine to the Pressure switch at the top!) Strip and clean that should sort it :tup:
