hi all hope you can help i have a beko wix85400 3 weeks ago it started overflowing from the soap dispenser we turned machine of emptied and tried to power back up no power to machine had an engineer come out and he said it needed a main board but 3 weeks later says he cannot source one . on e spares the have a dc module is this the main board hope you can help

is this machine under 2 years old ?
it look like an integrated machine is it ?
if the answer is yes to both of the above then its probably under guarentee. All Beko integrated units carry a 2 year warranty

yes machine is only 13 months old spoke to Beko who said it was not covered as we didnt register with them for 2 yr warranty engineer who cant source part was from my insurance company im just trying to find what part i need to order as ive had no washer for 3 weeks now or do i go out and purchase new machine
Hmm bit of conflicting info here
you say you rang up and they said since you did not register you dod not get the extra guarentee
when i rang up once for a landlord to register his cooker at a tennants house was told i dont need to register every one
it is in terms and conditions. I would ring up again and push them if they say no i would start moaning on facebook or the like about having a scrap appliance after 18 months because you forgot to register and on top of that little or no spares available to fix it. these companies dont like negative press in public arenas so its worth a go
