    Hi Guys,
Im hoping someone might be able to help me regarding my Beko GNEV_220APS (not 220s as title of post)
Today the electricity safety inspection was done by the council on my house and they flicked the main power off to do it, the power was off for about 2hrs, upon turning the electrics back on i noticed the display was off on the fridge freezer and but i opened the door and seen the light was on so initially thought it must just be a defrost thing with it being off and was still getting power. a few hours later i realised stuff had started to defrost in the freezer and the display was still off, under further investigation it seems the only thing on the fridge freezer getting power is the light.

Ive checked the manual found here: https://storage.beko.co.uk/bekouploa…/GNEV_220S.pdf
and going off that all i can presume is whats affecting me is: • “Protective thermic of the compressor will blow out during sudden power failures or plug-out plug-ins as the refrigerant pressure in the cooling system of the refrigerator has not been balanced yet”.

Is the protective thermic something that can be accessed / reset or is it a part i require to replace.
Seperately does anyone know if this is something i can complain about to the council ?

    thanks for any help

Just to confirm pretty much exactly 24hrs after the power being turned back on yesterday, the fridge has came back on today, i dont know if they have some sort of 24hr timer in them or if its just coincidence but heard the compressor noise , went out and the control panel display was back on, ive give it half hour and the ice cubes that had defrosted are refreezing and the fridge is cold
