Hi Guys. I`m looking at a Daewoo DDW-A1211L dishwasher coming up with E2 error code. When started it pumps out ok, then fills. The pressure switch is activated, it keeps filling then the error code comes up. If i short out the p/stat while it`s filling it doesn`t stop filling. I suspect it might be a board fault. Any ideas anyone .Thanks Mack.

checked manual and it is a filling problem

trouble is you have picked an appliance with little or no spares ot tech support

it may not be the pressure switch that detects water height but i cant be certain. A lot of late dishwashers count the water in using a switch in the water inlet that sends pulses to the board. you need to check if yours has got one

Thanks Dave, I haven`t seen a flow sensor yet. I was going to fit another valve & remove the aquastop at the weekend. Let you know how that goes. Cheers Mack.

Quick update. I did remove aquastop & fitted normal E valve. It does have a water wheel flow sensor. Which is spinning round fine. ( I do have 5/6 bar of pressure at my gaff). So I presume I am looking at the sensor or the board being faulty. Any ideas. Cheers Mack.

check wiring from flow sensor to board

if ok a lot of flow sensors are normally small reed switches which can be got and soldered in

if that fails its probably the board and time to change it

Update on the repair. It was the paddle sensor, which was making & breaking when tested but apparently when spinning fast was faulty & not giving the right signal to the board. Anyway new fill chamber later. All good. Hope that’s helpful.
    Mack.
