Hi i have an HAE60K cooker where the cooling fan doesn’t stop running. I have changed the cut-in 65 deg part but this hasn’t cured the problem. Do i just need a new cooling fan.
    Thanks Chris

    no
if you changed the fan stat and it still runs it will be the grill control switch

for that i need more info

there are 3 cookers with the above model no in its description

to tie it down to one cooker i need the rest of the info off the label inside the door

there should be a complete model number, A commercial code and a serial no

very likely C00270066 but you need to double check

    https://parts.hotpoint.co.uk/product/model_HAE60K/control{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}20knobs/J00172913

but if it is an open switch you can check for seized contact so i would check that first

    Hi Dave,
I went and fitted the new switch today but the issue is still there. The cooling fan doesn’t stop running.
On the end of the old switch was another one that was fitted to the switch, this one I just pulled off and replaced into the new one. Could this be the faulty one? And not the actual main control switch
    Thanks Chris

cant be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure of the diagram i have for your unit because i am not getting a 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} match for the models etc

but the one i am looking at has 3 ways of turning the fan on

there is a stat with both ovens with the main oven it will be down the back somewhere
plus the switch you just changed ( i did say to check first)

all you have to do is find this stat and pull one wire off, Insulate it and switch on. if the fan has stopped thats the one

    Dave
