I need to replace thermostat on Fagor oven…I’ve removed the old one and the number on the thermostat is 55.13053.240.i can find replacement ones but don’t have 240 as the part no…some have 250 or 280….are these ones ok
thank you
Thank you…It’s a Fagor class a ..the label with the model number is on the oven door but as it’s paper it’s just disintegrated so can’t get serial or medel number
Yes I pulled it out and nothing there…I have the user manual and it’s just referred to on there as OVEN….and if I search for the manual number again it’s referred to as Fagor Oven…I’ve contacted Fagor themselves …await reply…but I’ve been told a .250 should be ok…and that corresponds with the temp dial on the cooker which goes upto 250
the site shop list a couple of Fagor stats but no corresponding numbers. you could drop them a line and see if they can help
if all goes pear shaped you could end up with a stat that does not correspond with the numbers on the panel. so you set it to say 180 and get 220. you would just have to adjust your dial to compensate
