    Hi, I bought this Fridge Freezer for £10 knowing the fridge didn’t work.
    There are 2 compressors. The one for the fridge wasn’t running. I bought and fitted a new PTC and now it runs.

    However…….The temp for the freezer shows 33 and it freezes fine. yes 33 and it goes up to 35 once frozen.
    The temp for the fridge shows ambient and although the motor gets warm the cooling matrix doesn’t.

    I’ve got the circuit board out no signs of damage. I have a meter and and fairly competent with all things except gas.

    What would be the next step. please don’t say the tip just yet.

    if the fridge compressor is running then its either a gas problem or a failed compressor

    both of which are specialist jobs
