I am trying to replace the capacitor on a White Knight 767C drier but I am struggling to figure out how to get into the machine to get at the capacitor. Anyone know how to do this? Also does anyone have a service manual for this drier? I can’t find one online.

a lot of white knight condensor dryers can be difficult to get at the capacitor

you have to remove the fan which if stuck can break if rusted on

then remove the cover and the chamber behind it.

Thanks Dave, that’s through the back, right?

I’ve taken the back and fan off and I can see the capacitor behind the fan housing. But I can’t see how to get the fan housing off to get at the capacitor. Any suggestions?

    yes thats right
undo the screws that hold the housing to the motor. in fact you may not have to undo those screw as they only hold the seal i think so follow the housing along to the right and there are 2 stainless “C” clips pushed on, one top one bottom. These have to be slid off to remove housing. note one is longer than the other
