    I have an 18month old Creda dryer T622CW, when I plug it in it cuts the power at the main box!!?? The socket seems ok, tried a few other appliances with no problems. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

    Clearly and insulation breakdown within the appliance that needs a qualified person with test equipment to fix for you. Fault with heating element or thermostats the most likely problem, so engineer time.
