Good afternoon all,
Could somebody let me know if it is alright to fit a compatible heater TOC to the above tumble dryer?
A customer has two such dryers, and both are now displaying error code E60 (heating circuit)
I have replaced the complete heater unit in one of their dryers, as the TOC is riveted to the unit.
However, the above heater units cost £100.00 each, and as the elements appear fine, I wonder if it would be safe to just drill out the original TOC and replace it to save them some money?
Naturally, I would source the correct TOC.

3 months down the line and a dryer catches fire and does £1M of damage and during the investigation they find a safety part that has not been endorsed by the manufacturer that was fitted by youwhat do you think might happen next
