Good afternoon,
Wondering if anyone has had problems with the above W/D door closure?
In order for it the machine to work the door has to be very firmly closed, (not quite slammed!) and a new interlock hasn’t cured the fault.
The door generally isn’t perfectly aligned (a common issue) resulting in the pecker locating around 5mm below its interlock entry point.
The appliance is under two years old, and has only had light use, and wonder if I should renew the door hinge and bushes?
jontythat funny had a similar issue with a candy washer yesterday and could see no reason for it. if i removed the glass it closed and locked perfectly but with the glass in no end of pushing would get it to lock or even latch at all. came to the conclusion that the front panel may have been warped inward but found a reason to scrap it so never got to the bottom of it
