    I have a ‘Bosch’ “Maxx 6” machine, Model (E-Nr.) number: WAE24064GB/30 FD 9412 606416.

    It seems to have failed. When I try to start the machine washing nothing moves and there is no sound from the machine.

    For example, if I turn the Program Selector to [40o]. Then press the “Start” button. The “Start” indicator light and the “Wash” indicator illuminate. The washing machine does not do anything (no movement or sound). About 30 seconds later the “Start” indicator light extinguishes and both the “Rinse” and the “Wash” indicators flash.

    Can anyone suggest what problem this is intended to indicate?

    does the door lock ?

    if no thats the first thing to check

    Thank you for the advice, Dave.

    The door was indeed not locking. It was latching but not locking.

    I fitted a new door lock module and now have an operational machine.
