Fridge-freezer manufacturers refer to a split like 60/40 or 50/50.

How is this measured? Do they use net capacity, gross capacity or door size?

My sister says they compare the relative height of the doors but I can’t believe that’s right.

    Hi

Yes it is the relative height of the doors.

If there is an integrated fridge freezer installed already I prefer to research by the model number. I can also find out if it has the fixed or sliding hinge system.

If it’s a brand new kitchen and install you just need to decide the split in order to obtain the correct decor doors.
