This machine brings up an E29 code a couple of seconds after starting which is supposed to be a supply water issue. However it is functioning normally with normal water flow. Pressing the start button again while the code is bleeping clears it and the wash completes normally. Any ideas?
unlike older machine this machine had a sensor on the valve to detect water flow. it could be this sensor is going faulty but since it only comes with the valve and the valve is close to £50 then you decision is
1 live with it
2 change vale in the hope its the fault as we cant be certain
you could disconnect the lead to the sensor and replace it in case its a bad connection
UPDATE
As suggested I plugged and unplugged the lead to the flow sensor on the valve a few times. I then tested the machine and the fault had become intermittent rather than permanent.
I took a close look at the connections and they appeared to be very dull/slightly corroded so I cave them a gentle clean. (I’m an IT tech so I have suitable tools).
And hey presto it’s fixed.
Thanks for the advice Dave.
