ParticipantOur beko ASD241 fridge freezer is just not getting cold enough, put a thermometer in there and its showing 6 degrees for the fridge and -5 degrees for the freezer, the compressor seems to be constantly on too
it came up with the red triangle and E 13 but that has cleared itself nowanybody any ideas?

ModeratorE13 is a freezer fan error
check the freezer fan is operating
in this weather make sure the unit has space around it to get rid of the heat

where would the freezer fan be?
is it located behind the back of the freezer behind the internal panel?

Moderatorwhen you took the covers off the fan was there any sign of ice build up
its starting to sound like a system fault as you say the compresser never stops. its looking like a compressor fault or lack of gas both of which are specialist faults

Daveno ice on the fan at all, the fan has been replaced in its past and found that the wire had been cut and connector blocked back together and this was on the freezer pipe, to which i have sorted properly and now the fan error hasnt come on since,
does anybody know the rough price to have it regassed? im in the midlands

Moderatorlook to see if we have a repairer listed for your area that does refrigeration and ask for a rough quote over the phone. They will also likely know the possibility of the compressor being faulty
