    It just won’t start, no lights or beeps, plug fuse is good, is this a common problems.

    can be caused by all sorts of things but it a board problem

    had one a few weeks ago where a slug crawled onto the main board. with 300v it did not last long, nor did the board

    Would this be the board down inside I have power at the cable entry point?

    yes if power is getting to the board remove it and look for damage
