    Hello.
We have a Panasonic NA-140VG3 that is making a terrible noise. The noise is only apparent during the water re-circulation function in a washing cycle. It does not make any noise when expelling water to the waste outlet. I am assuming its the pump, but why is it only making a noise during one element of the pump function ? ( It had a new drum assembly 3 years ago, and the drum bearings and motor are fine )
What part do I need to replace please ? This youtube link is to my machine and it’s fault.
    All help much appreciated.
    Many thanks

    there will be 2 pumps
one for circulate, one for drain

i would find and open the circulate one and check for debris first

Thanks Dave. I didn’t realise there was two pumps. Any idea where the re-circulation pump is located and how to access it ? The drain pump i guess is the one connected to the front panel drain plug, but not sure where the re-circulation pump would be. This by definition must be the cause of the issue and all other noise issue bearing assemblies are definitely OK.

Many thanks for the help so far.
