    Morning,
CD601 dryer which apparently every 4 or 5 goes doesn’t start. The dryer powers up and ‘sounds like its going to start’ but there is no drum action.
I visited it a couple of weeks ago & by the time I got there it fired up perfectly. Now 2 weeks on its doing the same, in fact whilst I was on the phone the customer tried it again & it fired up. My next step would be to change the starter capacitor but thought I’d post here first to see what you thought. Does anyone know what capacitor is fitted & is it the back of the dryer off to access it?
    Regards, Tim.

Plan B Tim, I don’t have a manual as such, only the full training video which is a huge file, to big to email. I have uploaded it to my Google Drive and will send you a PM with a link from which you can download it.

Sorry in the delay to reply. The download was very useful, in fact it was nice to take a machine apart that then went back together again with no issues. The capacitor was actually 6uf but not a problem as I fitted a 7uf. I haven’t heard back from the customer yet to whether it has sorted the issue but I’m sure I’ll find out later after I’ve sent him my bank details!! Cheers.

Glad it helped, as long as you can put up with the voice over on the video saying “ you can easily “ every few seconds they are very good.
