stops mid cycle, have been told it is probably the program board, how much will this cost. Is there something else I can try, some days it appears okay others not 🙄

Hi Glen,
Is there an error code coming up at all, the lights will stay lit or flash?
If not, in all honesty for all the Smeg dishwashers I’ve seen, I’ve never seen an intermittent fault on one of the timers, almost certainly never on a DW64 or its kin. I’d suspect something else if you can give a litlle more info we may be able to offer pointers.

When it stops, it will display some form of error code by way of the lamps on the front panel- ie some stay on and some flash (or at least it should).
From left to right, if they are doing this, can you let us know which please.
The main PCB will be expensive, but a “probably” doesn’t mean that it has failed, many things can cause it to stop mid cycle 😀
