ParticipantCan anyone supply details/photos of the wiring for the control panel on this dishwasher? I replaced a broken detergent dispenser and after connecting it back up I can’t get the salt or rinse aid warning indicators to go out. I also didn’t take a picture of how it was connected before removing and replacing the detergent dispenser, so I have nothing to compare with. I know, what an idiot! 🙁

ParticipantI disconnected from the dispenser (two plugs) and from the door close mechanism. The door sensor appears to be working, it’s just the indicators that aren’t. If I can’t verify the connections, I’ll try running the dishwasher and see what happens.

Moderatorhow did you replace the detergent dispenser as it shows it only comes with complete inner door
also there is a reference to 3 different types of dispenser
what i am getting at is, it it the correct part ?
for me to look it up accurately i would need all the nubers off the model label, the above brings up 6 different models

ParticipantIt was this part: https://www.ransomspares.co.uk/parts/dishwashers/whirlpool/inner-door-panel–tablet-detergent-dispenser-/825818.htm. It is indeed sold as one unit, but the door arrived damaged, so I just removed the dispenser and swapped out the broken one.
I’ll get the part number off the new dispenser when I next have access to the dishwasher. It’s at my son’s flat.

Moderatorwell just as an update
i can find 3 different panels linked to your machine also it mentions the need to change the door wiring harness as the dispenser wiring is different on some of themhttps://www.ransomspares.co.uk/parts/dishwashers/whirlpool/inner-door-panel–tablet-detergent-dispenser-/825818.htm

ParticipantAren’t the first and third link the same? Also, the second shows no info at all.
Latest update is that the dishwasher runs normally on a test quick wash, except for the detergent dispenser not working, and the level warning indicators showing as before.
The rinse aid sensor on both the old and new dispensers is identical (I pulled it out and checked all the circuit board markings). The actuator for the detergent dispenser is a simple two pin connection, and also identical to the old dispenser.
Unless the control PCB is itself faulty?
The exact model no is LTF8B019CUK.

ParticipantHey Paul,
Did you ever figure out your wiring problem? because I am in exactly the same position: broken dispenser, replaced inner door, now can’t get dispenser to open…
Did indeed notice that the connection seemed different (but also: I stupidly didn’t not the original wiring, and I am no longer sure of which one goes in the dispenser, and which one is for the door latch)… TBH, I wouldn’t mind even soldiering the two pins directly, if I were sure this is the right connector.
Before ordering a 20 quid wiring harness, I wanted to make sure this was the solution to that silly problem…
