    Hi,

I’m aware that ISE isn’t trading but my AW23 has another fault I need help with. This first was that the screw sheared off from the dampening concrete. I fixed this by having to bodge a repair and try and rescrew. However this has meant I can’t go higher than 600 rpm. Anyway, that aside I’m getting E06 error with no draining. After looking at the guide, I’ve checked pump filter (it was clear) and the drainage hose, there was some limescale that came out but otherwise was clear. My sense is the fault more substantial and this is where my skills end. I’m wondering if there is such as a service guide so I can see if I can get at the pressure control sensor and drain pump. I do need to assess but I guess I’ll probably need a repair.

How easy is it for a novice to do his and also could I/someone effect a repair/replace on the dampening concrete; my guess is I’d need a new block and screws as one had sheared off leaving a remainder in the block which neither my mate not I could drill out.

Finally, is there a list somewhere of local repairers I could look up? (I’m in Romford if that helps).

    Thanks in advance.

pressure control sensor is a small switch with a thin tube coming out of it. follow this tube to the bottom of the machine and you will find a small chamber that traps air. Make sure this is clear
not sure what type of switch it is so you can blow down the tube but dont blow into the switch

I’m assuming, from looking previously this won’t be easy to get to. Is it the the whole of the rear panel that gets removed?

No rear panel on these, top off to access pressure switch. Pressure hose may have been damaged y concrete weight. Did you remove the front panel to access the weights?

Yes. It was a combination of the top cover and front panel that I needed to do.

In most instances one of the concrete weights will have broken. The bolts usually snap clean off. In 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of cases I managed to remove the snapped bolt to allow a new bolt to be used. Using a small hacksaw blade I cut away a few mms of the plastic stud and was then able to grip the end of the snapped bolt with mole grips and get it out.

Virtually all of the working components are accessible from the front.
    PS . Check your PM’s;)

    The concrete weights are here..http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/ise-drum-parts

I usually had to try and source bolts locally.

Thanks for the help this was easier that I thought as I could access the base of the machine with just removing the base panel and not have the faff of the door panel. I found a load of limescale in the drain hose exiting the pump along with some in the pressure sensor tube. After restarting the fill and main wash go ok but then theres a 5 minute pause and I get the E06 code again. Given this is a 60min cycle my guess is that it fails during the drain. I’ve also tried a drain only but that fails. My guess is that the limescale blockage has burnt out the pump.

The unit I have is marked Plaset cod 66129. I had a look in the shop but I’m not seeing any that look right. Then again I’m no expert. Are there any that could work ?

This one should fit. https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/3202…ine-drain-pump or you could just change the pump body. Would also advise doing a proper repair on the concrete weight before the plastic drum front gets to badly damaged.

Thanks for the help all. I found the same part on ebay (sorry shop owners) and fitted last night. All is good and SWMBO is happy.

In dismantling the assembly I found a broken wooden ice lolly stick which probably hasn’t helped. (I did check the filter first but It was jammed in and wasn’t visible then.

Those pumps all appear to be second hand ,:(

True. It may be that my old pump motor is ok but was prevented by that the bit of ice lolly stick and blocked pipe. I do get your concern over used parts though.

I don’t need a new concrete weight as it’s still intact it’s just I’ll have to remove and get the old sheared bolt out of the outer drum without damaging it and put a new one in. If I do, replacing the outer drum will be a bit of an arse to fit and not cheap. I’ also not sure if the part on the shop would be an exact fit

I did give my method of removing the snapped bolt earlier in this thread. A new drum is not required, just the drum front. The correct drum front is available in the shop at a very reasonable price. The drum you linked to is for the very high spec ISE 10 machine that was made in Sweden.

This is likely to be the drum front for your machine but you would need to confirm that with the shop as there are a few options. https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/9021…hine-tub-front
