hotpoint dryer TVFS83

customer reports all lights flashing (this is a module controled machine) and will not respond to any input control. says she had a heater fitted about six months ago but that fault did not show any light faults and has been working well since then. I’m thinking module but as this job is a few miles away, too far for a quick call to test, I want to be sure that this could be something worth going out to as a board is too expensive.
any ideas as I have never had one with lights flashing
