ParticipantHi guys I have trouble with a Bosch WTE84106GB/48 which I have replaced the belt and front drum wheels. Since doing this it stops too soon on the super quick 40 setting, after 15-20 minutes with the clothes still wet. I replaced the NTC at the back but it’s still doing this. They have only ever used the super quick 40 setting followed by the 20 warm to finish off. Can anyone point me in the right direction with this?
Thanks, DarrenOctober 5, 2020 at 6:24 am #472372electrofix
Moderatorsince you were working at the front have you checked the front ntc and cables to it ?

ParticipantHi again, I am still having problems with this one. I have replaced the front NTC now as well as the back. I have checked the wiring from the PCB to both sensors.
I don’t see how anything I did could suddenly cause this fault, I have repaired loads of these WTE dryers.
has anyone got a suggestion?

ModeratorWhat you have repaired ie changing the belt and support wheels would have nothing to do with dryer going off after 15 -20mins i would guess it was like this before you repaired it, other than a issue with airflow front fan blocked with fluff condenser blocked, pointing to pcb

Moderator1 assume youi have checked condensor in both directions
2 cold air fan ( get lots of these fluffed up )
manual says you can adjust dryness level, have you check what level its on ?

ParticipantThanks for getting back to me Dave.
I cleaned the condenser from front to back, but not the side I didnt realise I should.
yes I checked the cold air fan.
I’ll download the manual and try adjusting the dryness.October 8, 2020 at 8:07 pm #472378electrofix
Moderatorhad a few condensors blocked from the side
I found the best way to clean then is to get the lint very wet then bang the condenser firmly on the floor with the blocked side downwards. the sudden stop when you hit the floor dislodges the wet fluff. It the only way a found that does not damage the fins or take hours
