has any one fitted a sump seal kit. how easy was it, did it work or would it be better for me to strip the m/c down and fit a new sump gasket ( sump seal kit 12005744 ).
Hi I have done a few, they are fiddly but easier than taking the bottom to fit it.
make sure you cut away the excess plastic as shown in the instructions.
Put washing up liquid around and be careful not to slice the seal on the sharp edges around the screw holes. You have to push the sump around to make space for the seal.
