    hi i have experienced a few problems after changing carbons on these machines,the brushes stick has anyone else found this to be a problem thanks john

    never had that and changed loads

    what carbons did you use ?

    Hi Dave i used carbons from Maddocks , i tried a different motor with the same carbons and am awaiting the results .unfortunately i didnt have any froim another supplier to try thanks for your input John

    these days i use gen carbons where possible

    as a case in point qualtex car69 (12-SV-02)

    non gen i pay £5
    whirlpool gen part is only £7

    even the candy hoover ones are only £9

    no contest in my mind and they bed in faster

    Yes they do have problems with the carbon brushes on the motors on hoover washing machines even when fitting genuine parts, dave thats a bit expensive for genuine brushes dave I don’t pay anywhere near that
