New door seal ordered and arrived today. The packet that it came in matches the original part number but the actual number on the seal is a different number. The only difference is the two holes / outlets at the top of the seal are open on the new seal where on my original seal they are there but sealed as part of the moulding.
Do I need to buy plugs to seal them or is it a case of it’s just the wrong seal ?
Machine model number :- LG F4J609WN
Original seal number :- MDS55242601
Replacement number :- MDS55242602i would say its wrong part but you need to get back in touch with whoever supplied it
lg can change parts often and full model and serial is often required
there may be a blank which will include clips to seal it but you need to ask as i have no access to lg tech
as for you model its not listed on any of my suppliers
