ParticipantHello I’m wondering if there are any repair people who may have worked with colston dishwashers in the 1970s. I collect vintage appliances for my vintage themed kitchen and have a colston 101 dishwasher. This has led to a separate college project on manufacturing and patents. If any one has any workshop manuals or instruction booklets or anything for the 101,303 or 505 ( basically the same machine) manufactured between 1974-1977 I think that would be great. Or if you worked at the factory at High Wycombe. I’m trying to decipher the serial number to see if there’s a date of manufacture. I also need some spares but I’m guessing that’s even more remote. Any help Would be great thanks
Richard

as for spares well depends on what you need

ParticipantThanks Dave. If you have any hoover or Hotpoint manuals you are chucking I’d pay postage if you don’t want them. Especially for twin tubs and early autos thanks

ModeratorNever touched a Colston dishwasher, or any Colston appliance for that matter. When I retired in April 2018 I got rid of all of my manuals etc in a major garage clear out.
