My zanussi Zdv12002fa dishwasher (91107900605) recently stopped heating.
I replaced the heater and the thermostat and its now heating again, but there is now water leaking out at the bottom. It’s not coming from the two overflow tubes, but seems to be coming from above the water softener. I thought it was a crack or something in the softener at first, but it all seems fine. It doesn’t seem to be the actual softener itself leaking, it remains full but dry when the dishwasher isnt running.

I drained the softener then ran a cycle to see if it was that but no luck, still leaking.

I’ve read about a dodgy pressure switch in these models and would replace it, but from what I’ve heard that would generally cause the overflow tubes to leak rather than anything else.

If anyone has any ideas I’d be very grateful!

Water softener to tank nut loose? Heater hoses join to heater? Left hand side air break to tank ” nut ” loose. Pin prick hole in s/steel tank – had one of those on a wretched Bosch on Monday but Zannusi are not immune from that either. Probably one of these? But could be anything really
