My dishwasher is stuck on the 30 min express setting. The P function button doesn’t change the settings anymore. I’ve already tried turning the machine off at the main power. I’ve also noticed the red light with the S that has appeared. Could that be something to do with it?

I’m unable to upload pictures to this forum so I hope this post makes sense. The brand is Whirlpool and serial number is 07-502667-06. Thanks for your help!

There isn’t a child lock. There another number by the bar code. 7682083945 if that helps at all? The red light is an S with what looks like a snowflake shape. Both in red.

The model number and 12nc on Whirlpool dishwashers is usually found on a white label along the door edge.

That’s going well for 12 years odd. S is the salt warning light and the snow flake is it needs rinse aid. Both are needed for best wash results and to keep the regeneration system in good working order.

I would be chopping the dishwasher in for another slimline built in or remove it, cut through the plinth and install a freestanding machine but you will lose the integrated look.
