    Dear all, I’ve tried several different searches but I haven’t been able to find any threads related to this problem.

    I have a Rangemaster Professional+ 100 induction hob and oven. The top-left burner on the hob has recently stopped working with an “E4” error code. From what I can tell online, this error code indicates a problem with the logic board. Can I fix this myself, or can anyone recommend someone in Somerset who could do the repair? I haven’t had any luck contacting Rangemaster directly, as the unit is out-of-warranty they have just suggested I find a local repairman, and the local people I have contacted won’t repair Rangemaster induction hobs.

    Separately, and over a longer period of time, half of the burner on the broiler has either stopped working or is intermittent. I suspect this is a totally separate fault, but I’d also like to get it fixed!

    not only would you have to replace the board but from memory i think there is a configuration proceedure otherwise it wont work

    as for an engineer have you looked here ?

    Thanks Dave, from what I’ve read that sounds spot on – replace the board and go through some configuration process. So probably not something I could do on my own. Thanks for that list of engineers, I hadn’t looked there!
