Hi, I have a Smeg SUK62MFX5. The ignition has failed on all gas rings, and I suspect a faulty ignition block. It’s not at all obvious how to replace the block, so any instructions would be really helpful. Thanks

you have to find where they have sited the unit but if you have to remove gas components to access it needs to be done by a gas safe engineer

    Hi

While this maybe a DIY fix for some we would not recommend it as you will have to disturb to some degree gas couplings in order to access the part needed. Our forum rules do not allow us to give advice on gas or dual fuel cookers. A fuller explanation can be found here we will always direct enquiries like yours to a registered Gas Safe engineer.

Thanks for the advice. There is no obvious way in and I certainly do not wish to mess with the gas bits. Best left to the experts.
