    please help i am about to lose it.
    my machine partly fills and then pumps itself out at the same time giving me 8 flashes and the dial turning. once or twice it has filled and the heating element started to warm up but then its just pumped itself out and given the same code as before.
    cant find what this code means anywhere can you help!!!!!!

    It relates to a Heater or Thermistor fault but could also be associated with a fault in the water level control (Pressure switch system?)…and finally…could also be a faulty Heater relay on the main circuit board? 🙁

    Lots to figure out huh?

    have you any idea roughly what range the resistance reading should be on the thermistor and heating element. checked the relay and it checks out ok . i suspected the water level control system before when i had an intermitent fault. any idea where i can get one and how much (the pressure switch i mean)

    wish i had never bought an ariston !!!!!!
