Beko Freestanding Fridge LX5053W – erratic cooling and ice build up

Over the last few weeks the cooling of my fridge has been ‘hit and miss’ – sometimes it maintains the temperature correctly with the dial on 4 – then the next day it has to be turned up to 4.5 – other days it has to be dialed down to, say 3.

In the years we have had the fridge it’s worked correctly set midway – around 3.

Also, sometimes we get a pool of water coming from under neath the fridge.

any ideas as to what may be wrong -and what we should do to fix it?
