    Good afternoon all,

Visited the above dishwasher earlier today, as customer reported a tripping fault.

After monitoring the appliance on a quick (33 min’) cycle, all seemed fine… i.e. drains, fills, heats, washes, drains, fills, rinses…

However, following the second rinse the machine continuously filled and drained.

I had a flow sensor (impellor jug) in stock, so fitted that, and ran the above cycle again to find the fault remains, yet noticed that the unit “jumped” several minutes, and then “1 minute remaining” until manually turning it off.

However, no tripping out, and would welcome any advice as I was running late for next appointment, and didn’t have time to delve further.

When about to leave customer’s husband called to say d/w had displayed either E06 or E08 error code, but wasn’t sure which.

Looks like it could be E08 which suggests “heat pump detected too low water level in tub,” which may have accounted for tripping, but not the cause….

    Hi Jonty

Earth faults on the heater can give all sorts of funny behaviour and faults codes…even as little as 30 meg in my experience

    Thanks for your feedback cj,

Customer decided to buy a new dishwasher when I stated the heat pump, and possibly other issues were arising.
