    Hi Guys,
    Help please!
Fitted a new grill energy regulator to above range cooker(because the old one had fallen apart, and was tripping electric)
Now the cooling fan runs in the off position. Have I wired it incorrectly or could there be another fault?
Please can anyone furnish me with a wiring diagram?
    Many thanks in advance
p.s. The energy regulator I fitted has the same diamond H reference number i.e. 48ER101C1P but has one less tag at position 4

i can’t help you but did have a similar problem with a 48 regulator wire for wire exchange for a 43 but had a live feed to the cooling fan in off position. never did resolve it

has it got a pcb to control the fan
if yes all you need to find is the trigger wire from the regulator to the board

Hi Dave don’t think it has a pcb fan control but can’t get a parts listing , had to put in a pne to get grill reg number. If i could find the fan control contact i could probably sus it out . If it has a pcb control it’s ok cos if i remove link wire fan stops.

did you take a phot before installation ?

    https://www.sirples.com/images/catalogo_serie_40.pdf

your should be the same as 43er

    so you should have

    live to P1
    neutral to 4

    element common goes to 2
neutral should already be on one element
the other neutral is fed from contact P2

the only other contacts left are S1 and S2 this can be used for a pilot light or in your case i would guess this is where the fan should be switched

is above correct model number as i cant see it anywhere ?

Hi Dave , foolishly didn’t take photo . Did double check mod. no. Will have to go back and try again , just thought if I could track down diagram would make things easier as i would have cable colours. I couldn’t find model either but connections managed to find it and old switch is a 43ER101C1 and apparently they are compatible , thanks for your help.
If it was easy everyone would do it.
    Cheers Geoff.

Sadly no it’s a gas hob. I’ll go back with all this new info and hopefully resolve , may be a faulty switch , fingers crossed thankyou .
    cheers Geoff
