    I recently replaced wire on a Hotpoint Dryer
    Model Number SUTDCD97B6KM(UK)

    ON reassembling the machine for thr life of me I can’t figure out where the other end of thr wire goes anyone have any ideas

    I have searched everywhere I’m baffled

    we would need more info

    we dont know where the wires is in the machine or where it comes from

    we dont know the colour of the wire

    we would probably need the rest of the numbers off the machine, the commercial code and serial number

    a pic of the problem might helps but there are size constraints so you may have to host elsewhere and post a public link

    It looks like a sensing strip wire only place I think it may have come from is the front duct where the front of the drum goes into the plastic there should be a spade connection there somewhere

    Agree there is a metal sensing strip inside the machine, the black wire connects to it. it senses dampness in the clothes to control the cycle
