    We have a customer with a Hotpoint HR612CH touch control ceramic hob that is just over a year old.

    All four zones flash simultaneously ‘E’ ‘0’ ‘2’.

    We can’t find any details relating to the E02 code, only something to do with the child lock but this seems to be functioning correctly.

    The fault seems to be intermittent. The customer is managing to reset the hob by switching it off at mains for approx 20 mins.

    Any help or advice would be appreciated.
