ParticipantHello forum,
Apologies if this has been covered before:
I have recently been doing up a property and as part of it purchased 2x Beko appliances: Washing machine: WTL94121W and a Condenser Dryer DTLC100051W. Space is limited so I intended to stack the washing machine and the dryer on top of each other as there’s no room to put them side-by-side and the client didn’t want to go down the single washer/dryer route which may have been more sensible.
The issue is the dimensions of both machines:
Washer is H84cm x W60 x D64
Dryer is H84.6 x W59.7 x D63.3It seems as if the stacking kits are for a max depth of 60cm (therefore not deep enough). Does anyone have a solution or a product to recommend for this? Or will a universal kit (such as a WPRO SKS101) work ok despite the max depth being 60cm?
Once again thanks for all your information on the forum – your experience and knowledge is hugely appreciated by me and has been really valuable over the years in my purchasing decisions. I look forward to your reply.Chris

ModeratorStacking of appliances isn’t as popular as it once was. That stack kit is the best by a mile of the few that are available.
The only other way I have seen is to add a strong shelf for the tumble dryer and cut two small strips of metal four inches long and an inch wide drill a hole at each end, carefully fix one end to the rear of the dryer and the other end into the wall this will then stop the user from pulling the dryer on top of them.

ParticipantThanks for the reply Don. That’s a really useful solution with the metal at the back of the dryer if I can manage to get a shelf built into the space.
Are you saying that with the larger than average depth of both those appliances that the stacking kit (WPRO SKS101) might still work for the dimensions (64cm deep rather than 60cm)? Would be great if it would…
Thanks again and Merry Christmas to you (however you’re spending it in this crazy time)

ModeratorSpec says it’s 62cm deep i guess it just depends on the foot positions on the washing machine.
