    Good evening everyone,

Another obscure problem in the form of the above washer/dryer randomly tripping out.

The machine is under three years old, and evidently, has hardly been used in a rental property until recently.

However, I visited the property today, as the landlord has reported the above fault.

I’ve had a look at, and tested, the “usual suspects” which can cause tripping. (wash & drying heating elements, motor, obvious wiring harness faults…) Also visually inspected the wash element, and it is “like new!”

The fault appeared as though it may have been a shorting door interlock, as on two occasions it tripped just before the door lock released, following short drain cycles.

However, it was fine on two subsequent drain cycles, having Ohms tested the interlock.

Prior to the above, it was fine on a shorter wash cycle. (draws water, agitates, heats, drains, spins, rinses…)

Then, disconnected dryer heater, and it tripped after about five minutes.

No error codes appearing, so decided to seek help!

Not sure how to access test/diagnostic mode, or whether this would help anyway….
