Hello, can anyone help me, I am looking at a 50cm freestanding gas cooker with a grill fit for purpose, because the one we own takes about 12 minutes to toast two slices of bread adding any more is just pointless becasue the actual grill only covers 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the cookers internal width and within that area only provides about 20{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} flame coverage.
I’ve found that the hotpoint / Indesit cookers seem to work really well as I do alot of installing and the vestell made ovens such as bush etc seem to be not as good from the feedback I have from customers

You’ll be lucky, for starters there are very few gas cookers made and soon there won’t be any at all.
in 50cm there is purely the budget end models like Beko, Indesit and Statesmen etc. Even in 60cm there really is only Hotpoint, Smeg and Zanussi the number of model choices is fast dwindling even with those three.
