    Good Day,
A fault on this dishwasher started out as – tripping the circuit RCD on earth leakage. I then temporarily, disconnected the earth wire on the plug. The dishwasher now goes through the cycle now but does not heat the water. I tested the element and this is OK. What is the means of controlling the water temperature?, I can’t find any thermosat on the internet spares sites, is the water temperature controlled by a thermosat, a timer or what?. Further, how can I get a service/wiring manual for this dishwasher?.

the earth fault may still be upsetting the electronics

you would have to wire the heater wires to a lamp or something like that to be certain. That way you can put the earth back

Thanks for the interest and help, the fact that the heater element is testing OK, would suggest to me that the means of energising the heater during the dishwasher cycle may be the problem. My previous questions still remain unanswered however “What is the means of controlling the water temperature?, I can’t find any thermosat on the internet spares sites, is the water temperature controlled by a thermosat, a timer or what?. service manuals unless your lucky is not an option. indesit service engineers only

water temperature is controlled by a thermistor the feeds back to the module
