    Hi all,

just replaced the bearings on this old girl for the second time after 3 years use as the amount of noise it was making I could stand it no more!
Original bearings did about 15 years!
moving on, all went fine and back together but I have a small leak from the push in sensor on the heater.
the sensor came out when I tried to remove the plug.
I had cleaned everything up which I’m guessing was my mistake as it took the crud off if it which is what was probably sealing it!
any quick fixes or is it new heater time?
    thanks again all
    Jez

Try tightening the heater securing nut

if what murv said fails then

bit of glue should sort it

the sort of adhesive you want is the original Evo stik with the petrol vapour smell

dont use superglue under any circumstances

loosen heater nut, pull sensor out, dry off and clean, smear with glue and push back, tighten nut and leave a few hours to set

    if that fails new heater

Thanks Murv, Dave but the sensor just slides into a rubber seal? I’ll pull the connector off of it but I don’t think I’m going to find a nut?
hopefully it’s this piece you were both referring to? White connector block with red and black cables https://photos.app.goo.gl/4NwQsdBq2xN4YP5NA (sorry about the link, tried adding the picture but the groups quota is full or something?)
annoyingly it stop during the heat up as it all expands then leaks again during rinses.
or did you mean tighten up the heater element nuts at either end?
    cheers

Just tighten the 10mm heater retaining nut in the centre of the heater bracket. This squashes the rubber heater gasket creating a seal to the tub and to the sensor.
