    hi i have recently had a couple of these machines both less than 18 months old where the motors were faulty ie, getting very hot ,a colleague of mine said he was told by someone at sonic there was a problem anyone else had this ? thanks john

    The new hoover washing machines built in China with the haier brushed motor are very unreliable its the overloading of the machines on the quick wash programme that causes the over heating of the carbon brushes

    any idea why the quickwash programme causes this and not any of the others ?

    Not really but has always been a issue with customers overloading on the quick wash programmes on the hoover machines going back 13 years when they had the old dc rectifier modules fitted thats the only thing I can put it down to failure as the way they set up the software on the modules

    Thanks for the info guys i suppose educating the customer is the answer
