Morning all, I have a 3 year old Candy Dryer (model no as in title) which has suffered a tear on the raised lip of the metal drum immediately inside the door aperture. The tear is about 8cm/3-4in long, aligned with the drum rotation and the torn lip indicates damage done from outside the drum (ie a penetrating impact or series of). I’m going to ty and repair with some Quiksteel heat-hardened metal putty I wonder if anyone has experienced anything similar? Trying to upload photo from my phone but the file is too big for the 2mb limit.
